October 2012, Volume IV, Issue IV Dear Family and Friends, We have had a good startup on our deputation

after the birth of Philip. We visited Community of Faith Bible Church and Lenwood Community Church. We were so blessed by their response to us and their heart for missions and missionaries. What a blessing they will play in our future mission work. It is wonderful to go to mission minded churches that help drive you on to Gods call in your life! Please be in prayer for the coming weeks as we travel to visit more churches in Southern California. I (Kevin) have still been serving in our local sending church, Warner Ave Baptist. I have also been preaching and working on an internship with Pastor Stephen Orman. I have learned a lot over this past year in training for mission work and pastoral care. Ive been studying church related topics during the course of Philip Weston born August 18, weighing 8 lbs 14 oz my internship. Just to name a few: Homiletics, Hermeneutics, Theology, Mission Strategy, and Church History. In the course of the internship, Ive also been blessed by my pastor, Stephen Orman, and his vision and heart to serve others. Our three wee ones have been growing by heaps and bounds. Both Adelaide (Addie) and William have been adding to their vocabulary daily and have been quickly learning the art of communication. Philip has started to smile. He is also a whopping 12 pounds 3 oz at only 8 weeks. Recommended Book of the Month: The Heavenly Man by Brother Yun. Darleen has been reading this book lately, and even though I (Kevin) have read the book, Ive been encouraged by her recounting these inspiring stories. We would strongly recommend this book. You will be blessed to hear what God is doing on the front lines of persecuted China. May God richly bless you in your service to our Lord! Kevin, Darleen, Addie, William, and Philip Weston
