Participants will leave this workshop with a portfolio full of tools, the
beginning of a Personalized Learning Network, and a head full of strategies, lessons, and activities for their Common Core classroom.
Cost:
$115 (includes lunch and materials) Graduate credit is available (0.5 hr)
Enrollment is limited to 35 participants
Bring your laptops, iPads, tablets, smart phones, etc. This is a HANDS-ON session for both beginner and intermediate levels.
Featured Presenter
Ginger Lewman is an education consultant specializing in project-based learning,
technology integration, gifted and high-ability learners, and creativity. She was formerly the Director of the Turning Point Learning Center in Emporia, KS, where she worked to create the LifePractice Model, a rich, democratic learning environment utilizing project-based learning and 1:1 laptops. She currently holds a consultant position at ESSDACK in Hutchinson, KS. She also serves as the co-chair of the Professional Development Committee for the Kansas Learning First Alliance; is on the Board of Directors for Advocates for High-Ability Learners; is a member of the Kansas Council for the Social Studies; is a Google Certified Teacher; and is a Discovery Education Network STAR Educator.
