The CBI has found that the NHPC allegedly did not follow the mandatory procedure while supplying cement to its contractor, Gammon India Ltd

    CASE
    The CBI raided the NHPC stores in April and verified

    that cement trucks entries were fake. As a face saving exercise, The senior supervisor, store, had been put under suspension The Parbati (Stage I) project has also come under the CBI scanner and the racket may allegedly run into crores of rupees, suspect CBI sleuths.
