Kansas Dont Spoil It Calendar Contest November 9, 2012

Your vote counts!

For the 14th year, the KDHE Bureau of Waste Management has sponsored the Kansas Dont Spoil It! calendar contest for Kansas students in grades K through 12. Each year, we receive thousands of entries from students who have done their best to create artwork that raises environmental awareness and encourages recycling and other environmentally friendly practices.

This is your opportunity to help select the artwork to be featured in the 2013 calendar. For each grade level, five pieces of artwork have been selected for popular voting. We invite you to take a look at the wonderful artwork and creative ideas submitted by these 65 semi-finalists. Voting is easy. Just click on the following link and you will be guided through the process: CLICK HERE The votes will be accepted through Monday, Nov. 12. After you vote, you will be invited to send us any comments or questions you may have about the artwork or the contest. The winning students will receive recognition from Governor Brownback during a special recognition opportunity! By voting, you demonstrate your support for the hard work of the participating students and your interest in promoting environmental awareness. The announcement for the 2014 Calendar Contest will be sent to schools in August of 2013. If you have children or know teachers that didnt get a chance to participate in this years contest, keep us in mind for 2014!
