The human potential, the limitless boundarys of possibilities and dreams.

The Infinite Ocean filled of human desires, hopes and wishes. Do were dare defined, as undefined limit, or is there a limit to the human potential. From the beginning of time, we look upon the heavens and the earth for an answer. To a question that may have only one answer or no answer at all. The Greeks defined the human potential as Arte or strive for excellence. Excellences that can be define as reaching for perfection. The Greeks viewed perfection by fulfilling your life purpose and be conceptualized as an immortal in the eyes of humanity. Christianity takes a dissimilar approach and defines perfection as a life without sin. We can go in circles defining words, to find that more words arise that we need to define. Perfection is a word that in particular we have to understand in a holistic view in its temporal context to understand the human potential, or arte. This is vital to understand because perfection in its essence is the basis morality and the state of completeness, but how can humanity reach the state of perfection, when it doesnt know what perfection is. Perfection, throughout time has change in forms and conceptualization in the minds of human civilization. In particular, Greece, the most stable and dynamic civilizations of all time. We are also going to focus on Christianity. In such a way we can visualize the transition of conceptualizations of arte or human potential. From polytheistic to monopolistic paradigms of dogma, human search for perfection has shifted forms throughout time. Finding the relationships between deity or deities, we can see how arte its the basis of morality and how our position in the universe change trough this paradoxical shifts. In order to understand these shifts we are going to look at the three works of art, of each era. The epic tale of the odyssey, the classical the Oedipus the king, and the epic poem Inferno.
