Tammie Stockli, Rebecca ONeil, Kim Gill, Kristen Dorey, Stephen Koehn, Brent Schieve, Andrew Holland, Sean Chambers. 1. Feedback from some elective and SESM teachers about our possible structure and process has raised some concerns. In light of this we plan to take a step back from our proposed structure. Well put it aside for now and focus instead reaching out to staff in the following ways: a. Well provide an ILD update at Mondays staff meeting which: i. Reaffirms our commitment to transparency ii. Reaffirms our commitment to creating a structure that works for kids and staff (huge buy-in) iii. Clarifies the reasons we see for a different grade 8/9 structure iv. Explains what we would like the structure to facilitate v. Asks for creative input from staff b. Well seek out staff members individually or in small groups to clarify our current thinking, listen to concerns and ask for creative solutions. 2. The overall goal of this process is to get as many staff members involved in the conversation as possible and to dispel any myths about our process.
