Name of presenter Chandra Praditaningrum Topic Ecology Key words (up to five) abundance, diversity, Echinodermata, Gili Rengit, Indonesia Gili Rengit is located in cluster of Lombok islands. It has high richness of Echinodermata, but they are poorly studied . In this study, diversity of Echinodermata is determined by using quadrat plot method. Research done on July 2012 in the east side of Gili Rengit intertidal zone. The result showed that there are 18 species from 4 classes of Echinodermata, index diversity estimated by 0,4735 using Shannon Wiener index. Species with the highest abundance is Ophiocoma scolopendrina from class Ophiuroidea.
