AUTOMATIC CELLPHONE DETECTOR

ABSTRACT
Restrictions are placed in everywhere, but it is the habit to break them. The size of mobile phones is much more compact in recent trends. So it is easy to carry them everywhere. These cannot be detected if they are operated in silent mode. A system is necessary to automatically detect them when they are operated by identify its frequency. In this project a method to find cell phones using the frequency sensing coil is implemented here. The cell phones have a particular frequency while communicating these is activated when a SMS or call is preceded. The frequency sensing coil monitors the frequency of a particular area and produces a command to the controller which displays the information of the cell phone user to the operator with this help the theft or unwanted interruption can be detected. The detection of cell phone is informed to the controller room by using RF communication. Hence the examiner can know about the situation from his room itself.
