I can Reed and Right

A text is any kind of reading that is informational. A text can inform you of how cultures are in another country, the newest fashion of the season, or how to build a rocking chair. Im an avid reader but I read all sorts of material. My favorites are magazines, fiction novels, and cookbooks. When reading those 3 genres I come out with knowledge that I didnt have

previously. To me, texts dont have to be formal literature as long as theyre in some way informational. In order to be literate, you have to be able to read, write, and most of all comprehend even the most basic language. Literacy can mean the difference between being able to

communicate your ideas to others and having your peers reject you because of their lack of understanding. Illiteracy is the inability to read. It can also be classified under the inability to speak with the correct grammar. This is due to the fact that without reading or writing someone is usually ignorant to the rules of grammar.
