2004,Storm Charley hit North Carolina and Optima Air Filter Company. Old times were well versed of what they were supposed to do. Entrance of new 30 employees, but were not clear about what to do and how to do. Phil Mann(Owner) met Linda and asked her to prepare a questionnaire that listed all the tasks, duties and responsibilities. The job questionnaire was given to the old timers.

not satisfied. Conflict between old timers and new employees. Top management unable to handle the situation. Job description was not given.
Old
timers, New Employees, Phil and Linda should come to a consensus. Management should see what actually is to be, one should not exaggerate. Proper Job Description should be given.
Should
Phil and Linda ignore that Old Timers protests and write up job descriptions as they see fit? Why? Why not? No, they should not ignore the old timer protests, because else it would not give any proper solutions to the problems as old timers are aware what actually the Job Description is and what procedure should be followed, how and by whom the work has to be done, as they have the experience.
How
would you go about resolving the differences? Consultants should be neutral and act as mediator and all party should agree upon the decision taken by them. Job Description should be made by consulting the top management and old timers. Job Description will also help in resolving conflicts.
