Ginger and Rosa are huddled together in a small space under a pile of deck chairs on a very windy and cold-looking beach. They have tucked their hair into the hoods of their duffle coats and are shivering as they gaze out at the grey sea and white surf breaking repeatedly onto the shingle. GINGER Ive been thinking. ROSA Unusual. GINGER Seriously. Rosa, if there was a nuclear explosion right now somewhere over there Ginger points out to sea in the direction of the distant horizon. GINGER (CONTD) - it would probably cause a tidal wave over here, dont you think? ROSA We could float on the deckchairs and wait to be saved. GINGER A dubious strategy. I think wed be doomed.
