Journal 9 Tatum Lott Ms. Hollingsworth Senior Project 15 Nov.

2012 Improving and Refining My Senior Project has been quiet the experience. When we began our research paper, my mind was overwhelmed with excitement and nervousness. On one hand I was thinking I am over half done with my senior year, and on the other, the child within me did not know what to do. My research paper is not a well-written essay nor does it give decent examples of citations; therefore I expect that I will have to revise a few of my paragraphs. My research paper explains the problems and solutions of insurance, doctor-patient communication, and doctors hours. In my solutions, I believe that my citations do not support them as well as they should. Perhaps the solutions are very vague. I also believe that the way I write is very elementary. English has always been my weak subject in school, but between Composition I and Senior Project, I have learned a great deal about writing essays of different types. Even though this research paper is difficult, it still can be done. I have tried my best to make it meet the requirements as best as I could. Improving my research paper starts at the beginning with my introduction. I believe that all of my introductions do not grab the readers attention like it should. Next, the body paragraphs are weak in material and wording. Insurance was a very difficult concept for me to understand. It can be very confusing if a person does have insurance and if another does not have insurance. I plan to ask my parents about types of insurance and .

Journal 9 Senior Project is very meaningful to me now. When I was a junior, I thought Senior Project was the most ignorant class. However, I was wrong. Everything from shadowing to writing my research paper was challenging but worth it. My research paper was the most difficult task throughout my entire senior project. However, it taught me that I would not change anything if I had a second chance.
