THE GREAT MOTHER & THE REBIRTH OF THE UNIVERSE By Kevin G. Blackwell www.kgblackwell.com
Happy 12/12/12! On April 3, 1986, I gave up. Almost exactly 7 years prior to this date, when I was a 16 year old freshman at Columbia University, my life had been turned upside down by a series of inexplicable psychic experiences that then sent me on a journey to understand why and what was happening to me and an exhaustive quest for spiritual enlightenment. I left Columbia and traveled across the country to Texas and California often in meditative communion with spirit & with my face buried in sacred texts and the books of Yogananda, Bach, Jung and Castaneda. I returned to college in NYC and entered graduate film school to learn how to tell stories about all that I was learning - all the while, still looking to find the meaning of life. Left film school and traveled to Europe, chasing a beautiful Swiss girl I had met and the secret of existence - longing for enlightenment and to be worthy of the gifts and wisdom that had been given to me. But I returned to NYC, more lost than ever and on April 3, 1986 I gave up my search. After seven years of repeatedly abandoning surefire pathways to worldly success to chase an elusive dream that receded every single time I thought I had it within my grasp I was done. With my tail between my legs, I resolved to be normal again and to turn my back on my psychic gifts and my sacred quest. Within an hour of my decision, while sitting across from the student center on Columbias campus, I was suddenly overcome by indescribable bliss and everything seemed to shine with a beautiful light. In an instant, I understood everything, loved everything, was one with everything, at peace with everything and for the first time in my life happy. The prize that had eluded me had now finally emerged from within I had awakened. For the next few weeks, I wandered around NYC in bliss before my state of bliss began to fade away. But I had had the first of many awakening experiences that would lead up to the big one in 2007, which in turn has been followed by more awakening experiences

that continue to deepen my awareness and love of life to this day. I am a proud father. My son is 20 years old. On his bookshelf are his favorites, Jonathan Livingston Seagull by Richard Bach and Siddhartha by Herman Hesse books that had changed my life years before his birth. And this amazing young man has known for years what I have only recently begun to embody and express: that life is about finding out and being who you are, discovering your voice, creating from your core and sharing your essence with others in the ways that only you can. And my daughter, who just turned 19 two days ago, has just experienced an awakening of her own. Right this second, in the middle of the night, she is probably awake unable to sleep overcome with an everlasting and ever-growing realization of the wonder and perfection of Life. Looking in her mirror in awesome awareness that she is amazing because she is a reflection of all that is. I share all this to bring to clarity that which we often dont dare allow ourselves to ponder: Is an acorn less than the tree that gave birth to it? No that acorn will grow into a tree as mighty as the one that gave it life. Are our children less than us? No they are at least our equals and many of them will learn more in the next year than we have learned in all of our lives. These realizations lead us to an inescapable conclusion Are we less than the God that created us? No, we are unique extensions of Its divinity, blessed with the freedom and destiny of being unique Creators ourselves, every bit as glorious as our Creator. We are unique and perfect reflections of God. And when we allow ourselves to simply be who we are, we have awesome power and literally alter and drive forward the evolution of the universe. Gandhi changed the world and not just by assisting with the liberation of India from colonial Britain. Every time a peaceful, nonviolent protest liberates a people or gives wings to a cause we are indebted to him. When we are our true selves, we change the world. Just by running as fast as he can, just by being who he is, Usain Bolt has forever altered our understanding of how fast a

human being can sprint. We each change the world when we allow ourselves to be who we are and do the things that only we can do. And when the world, its civilizations & societies allow themselves to be what they are intended to be, likewise, they change the entire Universe. This is what we are on the brink of. In the summer of 2011, in the very first message I sent out to my mailing list, I related that during a session with a client, the spirit of the Sun showed up to both of us and announced it had just gone through an awakening experience and would be shining on us with a different light, which would elevate the consciousness of the earth, humanity and all life on the planet. (http://www.kgblackwell.com/new-dawn-for-the-sun.html) What I didnt share in that message was the fact that my client entered that session frustrated and filled with the longing to have a profound experience. After years of searching, and watching others close to him have life-altering awakening experiences, he just wanted more. He entered the meditation with this conviction and intention in his heart. And in the meditation, he gave up and finally totally surrendered to himself. And next thing we knew, the spirit of the Sun was upon us, shining on us with its magical new energy and light. In the aftermath of this life-changing event we both talked about the gift of communing with the spirit of the Sun and how it had awakened us. But the truth of this event is this: My client awakened, fell into his Self, his true nature, and in that moment, because of who he is, he helped the Sun to awaken just as much as the Sun helped him to awaken. My client has had lifetimes as a Sun priest, an alchemist, a master of energy manipulation and transmutation. As he awakened into the totality of himself of course it impacted the Sun. The Sun was waiting for him to awaken not the other way around. When an individual wakes up, it impacts the universe in ways one cannot underestimate and imagine. Why? - Because every individual is an extension of God and thus has boundless power and impact in alignment with that individuals essence. As more of us wake up and allow ourselves to simply be who we are we change the universe. To paraphrase Gandhi, Be your True Self and you will be the change you want to see in the world.

On November 13, 2012, the day of the final New Moon and total eclipse of the Sun before the end of the Mayan calendar, I had a session with a client with whom I had been working for a year. In that year, she had moved through a separation from her husband, and a total revolution of her life. Urged by her guides to spend time in solitude and nature, to connect with her shamanic roots and her lineage, she came to this session longing for a deeper connection to her essence and clarity about her lifes work and the real world actions she needed to undertake. After talking for a bit and recapping the prior sessions, we entered into a meditation, which would lead us to communication with her higher self and spirit guides. After allowing her to meditate for 10 minutes, I checked in with her and immediately recognized that something was different. She had gone deeper than she had ever gone in prior sessions. I scanned the inner space and recognized that all of her angels, ancestors, spirit guides and master teachers were present. But instead of lining up to speak to her through me as they would usually do, they were all staring at her in joy and awe. She had become her true self, fallen into her essence and was simply being who she was. Whenever this happens, when an individual becomes who they were created to be, the universe falls silent in reverence and joy because truly a new god is being born. At the same time, imagery and messages began to appear related to birth. And as these images began to coalesce into meaning, a vision of the Great Mother, the feminine aspect of God, came before us. And she was reclining, preparing to give birth to a new universe. The silence became deafening, as all beings around us continued to grow increasingly awestruck at what was occurring and trust me this is unusual because when these beings show up they usually have a lot to say! But not in this moment the Great Mother was preparing to rebirth the Universe and all beings were in silent, reverent awe. I repeat the universe is being reborn right now. Who is my client? She is essentially a midwife. A being who in all situations, looks to give birth to new ideas, new forms, new methods. A being who creates space for the new to emerge in a healing way that allows, respects and utilizes the contributions of all concerned. This is who she is, what she was created to be and do. And the moment that she fell into her true essence, she induced, allowed, prompted the feminine aspect of God to prepare to give birth. Right on schedule. When an individual wakes up, it impacts the universe in ways one cannot underestimate and imagine. Why? - Because every

individual is an extension of God and thus has boundless power and impact in alignment with that individuals essence. We saw this in a previous message that I sent out in which a woman, with an intimate connection with Gaia, was urged by her guides and Gaia to meditate and connect with her true nature. So she meditated and went into deep connection with her essence and in that precise moment a earthquake occurred whose epicenter was in the precise location of the Suns announcement to me of its awakening a few weeks before. Why? - Because every individual is an extension of God and thus has boundless power and impact in alignment with that individuals essence. In many of my lectures, I often recount the story about when I was living in Austin, Texas in 2009 and a woman I had just met told me that I needed to move to Santa Fe, NM in two months and that within six weeks of my arrival in Santa Fe, I would meet folks that would introduce me to the world and help me to elevate my profile and influence. She even allowed me to stay in her house for the two months leading up to my move. I took her up on her offer. And during those two months before I moved, we had amazing talks about our various spiritual experiences and were able to discuss the true nature of God with one another in ways that we really hadnt been able to do with anyone else. We even had an experience in which we went deep into meditation and connected with our essences and the masculine aspect of God took form and approached us and left us and all the other beings around us in awe in the same way that the Great Mothers appearance did just weeks ago in the session with my client. And again, in that instance, it was the depth of our connection to our true Selves that induced the awesome appearance of the Great Father and initiated Its deeper collaboration with humanity. I did take her advice and move to Santa Fe and sure enough within 6 weeks met a person that would change the trajectory of my life. This woman also told me something else that resonates tremendously now. She told me that I was visiting this lifetime from another lifetime extremely far in the future - a future lifetime in which the physical universe was literally about to die and be reborn again in the same way as human beings die and are reborn.

Needless to say, this was unprecedented and was creating fear for me and my fellow life forms in this future life. Thus, I had chosen to revisit this lifetime in the 21st century and participate in the energetic rebirth of the universe that is happening now with the hope that I could go back to the future and help my peers live through the awesome process of the physical death and rebirth of the universe courageously. Our universe is being energetically reborn. The Great Mother is giving birth. As more and more of us wake up, we help this process in ways we cannot imagine but in ways that are very real and consequential. When an individual wakes up, it impacts the universe in ways one cannot underestimate and imagine. Why? - Because every individual is an extension of God and thus has boundless power and impact in alignment with that individuals essence. As more of us wake up and allow ourselves to simply be who we are we change the universe. To paraphrase Gandhi, Be your True Self and you will be the change you want to see in the world.
