Assignment Brief

Video Production: Titles and two minute opening sequence of a horror film Preliminary Task: Each student will have their own preliminary tasks on their own blog, this involves filming and editing a character walking in and out a room or sitting down with another person, with whom she/he then exchanges a couple of lines of dialogue. This task will demonstrate match on match action, shot/reverse shot and the 180-degree rule.

Main Task: The titles and opening of a new horror film, to last a maximum of two minutes. All video and audio material must be original, produced by the candidate(s), with the exception of music or audio effects from a copyright-free source. Both preliminary and main tasks may be done individually or as a group. There is a maximum of four members to a group.
