Sight Words: this not Nonfiction Text: The World Around You Letters: working on sounds A-Z (www.starfall.com) Phonological Awareness: phoneme blending- hearing 3 sounds and blending them together to make a word Fluency Piece: The Seasons Change (was sent home Monday- focusing on pacing, punctuation marks, fluency, pointing to words as they are read) Vocabulary review: seasons weather resources Comprehension: fact and opinion Log-on at home: www.wglead21.com (I am always happy to resend usernames and passwords!) Take Home Book system is up and going! Please read your childs book with them until they are fluent and then send it back with the form completed for a new one!
