    AUTISM AWARENESS MEETING


    Dear Parents: This letter is an invitation to join us on February 7 , 2013 from 9:30am to 11:30 am in training room B at the administration building for an Autism Awareness Information Meeting.

    We will have a presentation by Melanie Johnston with Brite Success. Ms. Johnston is a private behavior consultant we use in Channelview ISD and has many years of experience working with students who have autism and their families. Ms. Johnston will present information regarding some of the most effective behavioral strategies to use with students with autism both in the home and in the classroom. We look forward to you joining us for this special presentation to help you as a parent become more educated in the area of autism. We will have a Spanish speaking interpreter available if needed.
