SPRING INTERNSHIPS 2013

As per Government of Pakistans Higher Education Commission (HEC) requirements for awarding respective degrees, INTERNSHIPs are compulsory for all final year students of Bachelors and MBA (Regular) degree programs. However, to comply with this mandatory requirement, students must fulfill the criteria to apply for internship detailed as follows: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. Students should be completing their degree requirements by the end of Spring 2013 MBAs should have a minimum CGPA of 2.8 BBA & BS students should have a minimum CGPA of 2.4 As per requirement MBA, BBA & all BS programs students should have completed the Methods in Business Research (MBR) Course Students who have deferred their internship in Summer 2012 are also eligible for Spring 2013 internship Students eligible for Spring 2013 internship will not be allowed to take courses during weekdays

IMPORTANT: Internship Form (front & back pages) and prescribed format of resume can be obtained from IoBM website (Announcement Section). After scrutiny these students will be interviewed for approval of their candidature on merit. Eligible students have to submit:

(a) Hard copies of the Internship Form (on front and back of one page only) & resume according to the
prescribed format. Resumes submitted other than the prescribed format will not be accepted.

(b) 1 photograph (1 x 1) & 4 photographs (1 x 1) to be submitted along with internship form, preferably
taken by Jimmys Photo Studio OR any other professional photographer with cloudy brown background. (Boys should wear a dark jacket & tie. Girls should likewise wear dark clothes No T-shirts please).

(c) Before submitting the Internship Form, eligible students should also email the softcopy of the prescribed
resume to: internships.placements@iobm.edu.pk i. File Name : Full Name I.D. #. XXXX Majors ii. Subject : Spring Internship - 2013 iii. CV should be confined to one page only as prescribed

Last date for submission of Internship form (Hard Copy) with photos pasted at specified space on the form along with One Page Resume for Spring 2013 Internship is December 31, 2012.
