APUO

The Association of Professors of the University of Ottawa (APUO), the union representing 1,260 academic staff at the University of Ottawa, invites students to submit designs for a logo that the APUO will use in its mobilization efforts. The winning logo will communicate APUOs core values: Quality of Education, Solidarity and Collective Action for the Collective Good. Why now? APUO is engaging in a major initiative to mobilize its members. The University of Ottawa, along with other universities in Ontario, is operating in a political context which prefers to raise tuitions rather than raise the quality of education and would rather deliver online education than create new learning spaces on our campuses. We know students are affected by these policies and we are calling on you to

CALLING ALL UNIVERSITY OF OTTAWA STUDENTS!

help us deign a logo that APUO can use to convey a clear message to its members and to others at the University of Ottawa that quality of education matters. Please note that the winner must surrender all Intellectual Property rights (copyright). As such, the APUO will be free to use the logo without any limitations. Submissions must be in the form of a .pdf le and emailed to apuodir@uottawa.ca with the subject line Logo. Questions? Contact APUO at 613-230-3659.
