*Anti-Air Mount: This weapon has the Skyfire and Interceptor special rules. *The Tesla Field hits all units within 18" (Necron units included). Special Rules: Sentient Hull: This enhanced Living Metal ignores any extra D6 or D3 roll when rolling for armour penetration. If the pylon suffers a Gun Crew Shaken result roll a D6, on a roll of 4+ it is negated, on a roll of 3 or less apply the result as normal. Drive Damage Negation: Drive Damage effects, such as Driver Stunned or Drive Damaged, have no effect on the pylon, as it has neither a drive nor an engine. Each Weapon Destroyed result applied to the pylon (and not negated by the Primary Weapon Rule) reduces its number of shots by one. Immobile: Gauss Pylons always count as having suffered an Immobilized result from the beginning of the game. This, however, doesnt confer any victory Points to the opponent. Phase-Shifter Generator: Necron units within 12" receive a 4+ invulnerable save. This includes the Necron Gauss Pylon. Special Deployment: A Necron attack can be supported by Gauss Pylons teleporting to or rising up from beneath the surface of a Tomb World. Necron Gauss Pylons can deploy via Deep Strike. Because of the pylons size it is not destroyed if there are enemies within 1" when it arrives. Instead move any models that are in the way the minimum distance necessary to make space for the pylon. A pylon that lands in impassable terrain is not destroyed but takes an immediate glancing hit and is moved the minimum distance to avoid the terrain.
