Automobile Museum Malaga

If you are visiting the Costa del Sol this Summer or in the near f uture and are looking f rom a break f rom the norm when it comes to daily activities, then why not head over to Malaga and visit the Automobile Museum?

T he museum (Museo Automovilstico de Mlaga) is located at the very impressive looking Edif icio Tabacalera with a total space of over 6,000 square metres which houses over 100 cars covering dif f erent periods. T he range of cars is f antastic and are arranged in areas f or the dif f erent periods such as the Belle Opaque period f rom the late nineteenth century to 1914, T he 1920s, Art Deco, Dream Cars, English Tradition and Dolce Vita.

T here is also an alternative energy range of cars including the solar car, the hydrogen car and a compressed air car. Every Friday during July and August at 12:30 pm, a number of vehicles will have their hoods opened and engines started so that you can experience the incredible sounds made by just a f ew of these magnif icent cars.

My f avourite? It has to be the Cadillac Eldorado 1959 with its tail f ins and chrome. Yum! When Is T he Museum Open?

T he museum is open every day f rom 10am to 7pm but is closed on Mondays. How Much Does It Cost? Admission is just 6.50 with Students and Pensioners paying 4.50. Under 3 years are f ree.
