Diarrhea in Indonesia still one of the public health problem.

The incidence of diarrhea in infant in Indonesia range from 301 over 1000 infant with a mortality rate of 75 over 1000 infant in 2006 based on Suvei Kesehatan Rumah Tangga (SKRT). Climate change also will affect the health of urban populations such as increasing of the diarrhea incidence. This study aims to investigate the correlation between climate change and family characteristics with the incidence of diarrhea in infant between 0 5 years in Tebet district. The study design was observation with cross sectional approach, the number of 113 sample of respondents with random sampling proportional sectional approach. Reasearch result indicate there is a relation between total rainfall ( p < 0,001) , humidity ( p = 0,032 ) , maternal education ( p < 0,001) , family economy ( p = 0,015 ) , size of the family (p = 0,038) and clean and healthy behaviour (p <0,001). Recommendation of this study is thet community members aware about climate change and seek to clean and healthy behaviour.
