The Pincourt sport complex will be completed

Pincourt, January 24, 2013 - The announcement of an agreement of principle between the town of Notre-Dame-de-lle-Perrot and the group headed by Alex Burrows for the construction of a sport complex took the Town of Pincourt by surprise, considering that the previous negotiations between this group and the Town of Pincourt ended due to the nature of the demand from the group which could not be reached in a municipal context and also as our other municipal partners in the RELIP were informed of our approach to complete the present project and the file was to be reviewed by all at the next meeting of the RELIP. Despite this announcement by NDIP, Pincourt is pursuing the approach with other parties involved in the construction, implementation and management of sport and recreational facilities as well as property management. Current discussions are not only on the completion of the present building but also enhancing it in adding other facilities to it as well as developing the rest of the land surrounding the actual building. Pincourt is actively working with the different parties in order to provide the population with the various services that could be offer in the facilities in the very best possible timeframe. It goes without saying the sport complex will answer a definite need on the island, and Pincourt project by its strategic location, the potential for expansion, is the all designated solution for the needs expressed by the island population. It is with this in mind that Pincourt is pursuing its current efforts and that hopefully our other municipal partners will continue to support the project has they did up to now.
