Associated Student Government University of Arkansas ASG Senate Resolution No. 34 Author: Senator Will Simpson Sponsors: Senator Will Simpson, Senator Ellen Rudolph, Senator Elizabeth Kyle, Senator Chris Wooden, Senator Amy May West, Senator Ashton Dawson, Senator Lindsey Edwards A Resolution to Incorporate Copy Machines into PrintSmart Quotas Whereas, Arkansas students appreciate the Universitys ITS PrintSmart Quota and find it the most convenient way to pay for printing; and Copying machines are useful, sometimes necessary, and not covered by the PrintSmart system funded by student fees; and The library copiers are leased, rather than owned, by ITS and require cash or RazorBucks to operate; and ASG is eager to work with Dean of Libraries Allen and ITS in finding a solution; then ASG continues to encourage the library to pursue any opportunities to migrate their copying system to a PrintSmart-compatible format; and ASG supports ITS in any efforts to develop systems that allow copies against student printing quotas.
