A tale of overcoming great difference with a few similarities.

Logline
A young aspiring musician attempts to serenade a beautician and ultimately creates a contraption that brings them together.

Step Outline
In the street of a small town, a young aspiring musician lives across the road from a newly furbished beauty parlour, owned by the woman of his dreams. Night after night, he attempts to serenade the woman with all kinds of instruments, from a piano one night to a trombone the next, but to no avail. Each time he fails in his plans of seduction and romance, he merely throws the objects aside so he may prepare to serenade her the next night. Feeling that all attempts are futile, one day he chooses to remain in his apartment, while the instruments are piled up in a corner of his apartment. Glaring at the pile before him, he suddenly gets an idea; why not combine all the instruments together? Working all through the night, and the following day, the man fails to realize that the woman patiently waits upon her balcony for him to begin the routine evening serenade. The following evening, the woman hears a commotion in her garden and rushes to investigate, hopeful that the man has returned to serenade her again. There, in the centre of the garden, he stands beside an object covered by a sheet, which he hastily removes revealing the peculiar contraption. As he begins to play the contraption, it is clear that the woman is infatuated and beginning to swoon, but at the worst possible moment, the music suddenly stops, as he has somehow become entangled within the contraption. Rushing to free him, she pauses barely feet away from him, staring at the contraption, giving her an idea of her own. Two days after the incident, there is a large gathering of people at the beauty parlour, to witness the unveiling of a new leisure and beauty appliance, the peculiar contraption, which has been slightly modified, in order to apply beauty products. Both the young man and woman unveil the contraption together, and have fallen deeply in love with one another.
