1 a) A hexagonal plate of side 30mm has one of its corners on HP and the opposite corner on VP. The plate makes 600 with HP and 300 with VP. Draw the projections of the plate. (20) (OR) 1 b i) A pentagon of 40 mm side is resting on one of the corners in VP. The edge opposite to that corner makes an angle of 30o to the HP. The surface of the pentagon is inclined at 45o to the VP. Draw its projections. (15) 1b ii)A hexagonal lamina of side 30 mm rests on one of its edges on HP. This edge is parallel to VP. The surface of the lamina is inclined at 60o to HP. Draw its projections. (5) 2 a) A circular lamina of diameter 70mm has the end A of the diameter AB on HP and the end B on VP. Draw its projections when its surface is inclined at 50 0 to HP and 400 to VP. (15) (OR) 2 b) A regular hexagonal lamina of 40mm side is resting on one of its corner on HP its surface is inclined at 450 to HP. The plan of the diagonal through the corner which on HP. Makes an angle of 450 with XY. Draw its projections. (15) 3 a) A cone of diameter 40mm and height 60mm is freely suspended from one of its base points such that the axis is parallel to VP. Draw its front view and top view.(15) (OR) 3 b) A hexagonal prism of base side 30 mm and axis length 60 mm rests on the HP on one of its base edges with its axis inclined at 60 to HP and parallel to the VP. Draw its top and front views. (15)
