Aims and Objectives:

To foster the welfare and wellbeing of elderly destitute To create an awareness of biological phenomenon of ageing to the younger citizens and to instill the sense of belongingness and ensure their full initiatives in helping and supporting our senior citizens. Creating cordial relationship between the youth and the senior citizens by initiating interactive educative programmes and cultural activities. To ensure that the senior citizens are given better Health/Medical treatments and their security are ensured by the care takers. To rehabilitate their individuality & personality and give back their identity and dignity as the productive senior citizens. To strengthen vital power of elderly/old aged through various techniques like Life style management (Counseling, Problem Solving Therapy, De-stress Therapy-Yoga, Meditation, and Laughter Therapy etc.), Diet management and counseling, Medical helps; etc. Facilitates older adults active participation in community development promotion of workplace equality with respect to gender, race or ethnicity, and other diversity factors by monitoring and enforcement mechanisms regarding employment standards, equal opportunity policies, bridging programs, and training programs; and increased participation of the working age population, especially women, people with disabilities, and chronically unemployed individuals. Ensuring and enabling supportive environments: Ensuring and enabling supportive environments for older adults requires attention to five factors: 1. safety, 2. accessible, and affordable housing, 3. support and relief of family and other informal caregivers 4. prevention and reduction of elder mistreatment, 5. Participation and empowerment of older people; and elimination of ageism.

Social action to prevent and reduce all forms of elder neglect, ,maltreatment and abuse, along with the creation of support services to address these problems, is another major objective of the project.
