Problems of the old age

Human life is normally divided into five stages like infancy, childhood, adolescence, adulthood and old age. In each of these stages, an individual has to find himself in different situations and face the different problems. But old age shares majority of its problems like physical weakness, psychological problems, social problems, economic problems, maltreatment and negligence etc. General Problems: 1. Economic problems The economic problems includes the loss of employment, income deficiency, 2. Psychical and psychological problems The physical and psychological problems include health and medical problems, nutritional deficiency and the problem of adequate housing etc. 3. Psycho-social problems The problems related to the psychological like empty nest syndrome and social maladjustment as well as the problem of elder abuse etc. 4. Family problem and social isolation Old age becomes burdensome to some families, and they are not given much attention and care which are crucial for the health and wellbeing of older age. This negligence is the major problem by the family members. 5. Discrimination/maltreatment and abuse
