March 2013 Ages 5-14 years

On the 23rd of February junior youth group took 39 kids with 7 leaders an 1 junior leader to Geelong water park. With a forecast of 33 degrees and plenty of water, the stage was set for a big day. We had a pizza lunch and McDonalds for dinner. Our orange t-shirts were worn proudly and all our groupies were amazing. The lazy river was a hit along with the aqua water slide racer. Some kids gave archery a go while others tried mini golf. We saw leaders having a go on things as well. This was our first event which had a junior leader and it was proven invaluable to the program, well done Chloe you did fantastic!! These leaders help the little ones go on the rides where adults need to accompany the child so there is less waiting and more playing. Thankyou to all our leaders, Vicki, Chloe, Shane, Lina, Emma and Leah, for your help on the day.
