HOW TO TREAT RING WORMS – Using banana

peels.

For about Four years between 1994 – 1999, I suffered

with ringworms that affected my face, the chest and
my back. I was financially hardup to afford visiting a
doctor for treatment and the little money that I made
from my peace meal jobs I could not spend it on my
treatment but pay for my school fees. In the mean
time, I tried various herbs that were prescribed by
grandmother which worked for a little time but the
ring worms still returned.

I had the chance to help my grand mother to prepare

“charcoal” using banana peels and ash. Having
worked with ash from banana leaves for some time, I
realised that the ash was salty. As an experiment, I
decided to apply it on the affected areas. It worked,
the ringworms started to disappear and for some
time, I stopped using the ichy herbs prescribed by my
grand mother although this was ichy too but worked
better.

- mix the ash with water and seive by leaving the
mixture to settle in a container with holes at the
bottom. Use an old tin or plastic material like a
used mineral water bottle.
- Allow the mixture to settle and suspend the
emprovised sieve over a plate or any container
that can collect the filtrate.
- Use the filtrate to apply on the affected area.
- Apply for atleast a week if it persists,
- Seek medical advise.
