-I: Has/have+ S+ Past Part.?

-N: S+ hasn’t/haven’t+ Past Part.

-It is used to express:

A)a RECENTLY FINISHED ACTION (it happened very close to the moment of
speaking).

Eg;’Oh, I have broken my glasses!’

‘Have you finished your project already?’

The band has just retourned from a tour abroad.

I have got the best mark at the English contest.

!There are some specific adverbs:

already placed between the auxiliary

just vb. (have) and the basic vb.

yet final position

recently placed between the auxiliary

-I: Has/have+ S+ been+ V- ing ?

-N: S+ hasn’t/haven’t+ been+ V-ing

Def; -expresses an action that started sometime in the past and is still
happening in the present.

Eg;
 1)I have learned English since 2002/for four years.

2)I have been learning English since 2002/for four years.
