regarding the study in Winston Salem in March of 2009

Regarding the study that Anita Ikonen will have on her experience of perceiving images
of the inside of human bodies and feeling health information when she looks at persons, a
study that is to be held in Winston Salem, North Carolina in the month of March 2009,
this is a waiver to announce and to verify how two important issues regarding that study
are addressed.

1. Members of the Forsyth Area Critical Thinkers (FACT) Skeptics Group of Winston
Salem will be participating in the study and working with some of the assignments of that
study. However, the study was designed entirely by Ms. Ikonen and the design of the
study, the carrying out of the study, and the results and conclusions that are to be made
from that study, are not necessarily endorsed by the FACT Group. All aspects of the
study, as well as Ms. Ikonen and the FACT participants during the time of the study, do
not represent the FACT Skeptics Group.

Ms. Ikonen can not and will not claim to have had, or to have passed, any kind of test or
demonstration of her skills with the FACT Group. This study is entirely for information
purposes for her to learn more about her experience of medical perceptions.

2. This study is not a test and takes place under conditions where some cold reading is
enabled. Proper test procedures are not implemented during this study. Therefore this
study, regardless of the results obtained, do not provide evidence in favor of any special
ability in obtaining accurate health information by extrasensory means.
