Esplanada Head Instructional Materials and Publication Office Cebu Institute of Technology University Dear Engr. Esplanada: With regards to what had happened yesterday, we want to send our apology to you and to the school for violating the schools regulation with regards the books. It wasnt our intention to compete with the school since those books werent available here and we only want to find possible resources. We thought of telling the CIT- JPIA members to avail those books in the national bookstore but then the said bookstore did not also have stocks for their required books since they have limited stocks and other schools have availed ahead of us. We asked if the bookstore could replenish their stocks but they told us that they could replenish after a month. Waiting for a month for the book replenishment would take so long and would possibly waste our time and let the days pass with the prelim examination fast approaching. Since prelim exams are a few weeks from now, we thought of serving our members through contacting someone from Manila, buy books for us, and let it deliver here. As officers of CIT-JPIA, our only concern is to provide resources and review materials for our CIT-JPIA members and to assist them in their studies especially those soon to take the board. We werent able to ask the permission of our adviser since shes still new and we didnt have the time to ask our chair and dean since they are busy with the enrolment. We didnt have the opportunity to talk things with them and that they did not know about this. We, as accountancy students are in need of different resources especially reviewers and textbooks because we want to expose ourselves and be intellectually prepared in all our discussions and examinations. We know that it is our great fault to come up with this wrong decision. We promise that next time, we will consult the property custodian with regard our need for books and promise not to do these things again. We hope for your consideration and hope youll be able to accept our apology. Thank you so much. Respectfully yours, Mark Jason Veloso Vice - President Internal, CIT U JPIA B.S.
