CONSTRUCTIVISM

Pop-Up Constructivism is the use of popular media as the jumping-off point for learning. It derives its premise from traditional constructivism, but the focus remains on what learners are reading, watching, and listening to, as evidenced in VH1s show, Pop-Up Video.

1. What media do the learners know well or what media can be added? 2. Where does the learner know the concept from (i.e. movie, TV show, song, Tweet, etc.)? 3. How can the learner apply their newfound knowledge later?
