Student will work collaboratively with group members to create a project that both showcases their knowledge about the 5 Health Related Fitness Components as well as their creative thinking in technology. Procedure
Day 1: 1. Anticipatory Set (5-7min) A. APK: Student are going to record and combine information from this week into a short video where the students can either act out a scene, create a song/cheer/ rap or rhyme. 2. I Do Introduction (Direct Instruction) (10 min) For todays activity, students will have the whole class period to create a short

This activity is to encourage creativity while students show what they know. -Assign each table group, a fitness component (flexibility, cardiovascular endurance, muscle endurance, muscle strength, and body composition) -Students will access the content from their mind map this week and are encouraged to continue to search for more information on the web if needed. -Students will brainstorm and record a written outline of their video, cheer, song, rap, or rhyme. -Students will them record their production using any mobile device such as an iPhone or iPad. - Student may use apps such as iMovie, Videolicious, or any other editing app they are comfortable with. Remind students that this project is limited to 1-2 minutes long. It is short and sweet. Show us what you know. Have fun and be creativity. -Review the rubric -When student are finished, they will upload their production to YouTube to share with the class. 3. We Do Student will take first 10 minutes to plan out their production and share with the teacher for approval. After they have received approval they are to proceed with project. 4. You Do (Rest of class time) Students are working with their table groups to complete activity. Teacher will observe and provid additional assistance as needed. 5.
