Differences between Hypertext, Hypermedia and Multimedia

HYPERTEXT HYPERMEDIA MULTIMEDIA Consists in the format where two different electronic media are combined in a same document, such as sound, images, animation and videos.

Refers to the documents Hypermedia is a word in digital format which are composes of two words. stored in the www. Hyper means random and media refers to the information presented in different formats.

Hypertext can only link Hypermedia can link text to text. The link is other different media, like: underlined in other color. images, animation or video.

The links in multimedia are selected by the perception of the programmer designer instead of the learner.
