I hope everyone had a relaxing and wonderful Spring Break. Now we are back at school and learning is fun. Below are the things we will be doing this week. Thank you again for your support. Literacy -This week we are review the following letters F, B, J, U, Z. -Activities include predicting, retelling, sight word detectives, ending sounds, and many more. -Sight word review we, are, no, at, in, see, he, she, so, and, is, the, like, can, it, up, me , on

Math -In math we are reviewing all concepts (ABC patterns, 3-dimensional figures, estimation, more/less, predict what will happen or wont happen) -Activities include completing the pattern, dice game, 3-D games, and many more concepts.

Unit -Learner Profile: Inquirers, Risk Takers How the World Works, Central Idea: Exploring with our five senses leads to discovery. -Activities include learning to explore our 5 senses, taste test, what sound is it?, touching is it soft, rough, smooth, etc.

Home Connection: If you would like to work with your child at home here are some fun activities: in Literacy play a detective game and search though books for all the sight words you can find. For math search for ABC patterns around your house and what things look like 3-D figures. Enjoy learning at home and get creative !! If you can take a picture of your child exploring and discovering at home and send it to me. I would love to share with class :).
