Cut the letters out. I get the plastic Easter Eggs from Wal-Mart, Target, or Dollar Tree and fill the egg with a CVC word. Number your eggs 1-5. The red letter goes in the middle, so it is differentiates for your kiddoes who need that little extra help. I have them record and draw a picture to illustrate the word. I feel like this helps with vocabulary, too! Hoppy teaching!
