Description Utilizeandimplementdesignprincipleswhichspecifyoptimalconditionsfor learning. Identifyavarietyofinstructionalsystemsdesignmodelsandapplyatleastone model. Writeappropriateobjectivesforspecificcontentandoutcomelevels. Analyzeinstructionaltasks,content,andcontext. Categorizeobjectivesusinganappropriateschemaortaxonomy. Createaplanforatopicofacontentarea(e.g.,athematicunit,atextchapter,an interdisciplinaryunit)todemonstrateapplicationoftheprinciplesofmacrolevel design. Createinstructionalplans(microleveldesign)thataddresstheneedsofall learners,includingappropriateaccommodationsforlearnerswithspecialneeds. Produceinstructionalmaterialswhichrequiretheuseofmultiplemedia(e.g., computers,video,projection). Demonstratepersonalskilldevelopmentwithatleastone:computerauthoring application,videotool,orelectroniccommunicationapplication. Utilizeavarietyofassessmentmeasurestodeterminetheadequacyoflearningand instruction. Demonstratetheuseofformativeandsummativeevaluationwithinpracticeand contextualizedfieldexperiences.
