Important News
New Grading System Information Night
One mission of Middle schools is to serve as a transition from elementary school to high school. Next year, a new middle school report card will serve that same function. It will provide letter grades like the high school report card but include more information on how students are doing compared to district and state standards, like the elementary report card. Information will be available on the district website as well. Want to learn more? Linda Stevens, the district's director of curriculum and assessment, will explain the district's middle school grading system and the new report card at a series of upcoming parent meetings. She will also preview upcoming changes in state standards and testing, explaining how this new grading and reporting system will aid teachers and parents in helping students succeed. Attend any one of these four meetings (all four will cover the same information): March 26, Inglewood Middle, 6:30 p.m. April 2, Finn Hill Middle, 6:30 p.m. April 16, Redmond Middle, 6:30 p.m. May 7, Kirkland Middle, 6:30 p.m.

Fundraising
The Easiest Fundraiser? Matching Funds!
Do you work for a company that matches your volunteer hours? If so, make your hours really count by submitting your volunteer hours.
