APS 7: An effective teacher maintains a constant awareness of student performance throughout the lesson in order to guide instruction and

provide appropriate feedback to students. During the lesson I ask a series of higher Order Thinking questions, to close my lesson I do a ticket out the door to see if they grasped the content that I taught that day. The daily starters serve as refreshers for the lesson from the previous day. As an effective teacher I know how essential informal formative assessments are to making sure the students master their skills.
