    <CONTENTS> On the XR-MD710, take the following action when the above symptom occurred. FFC (W502), that connects between the MD mechanism and the main C.B., may have been poorly mounted. If the symptom exists, operation of moving up and down the elevator is unavailable in CD TEST mode. Symptoms:MD door does not open. CD "ELV.ERROR" message appears. An LED on MD/CD section does not light up during DEMO operation.(See figure below.)

    <COUNTERMEASURE> Test continuity between pin 13 and pin 14 of main C.B. connector (CN502). If a short exists between the pins, remove FFC(W502) on CON502 for normality check, and remount the FFC.
