Students will start playing at letter C in their music and get a couple of run throughs in Teacher will then explain how to articulate each accent mark Students will go back and play that same section again Once students have got this section to an acceptable level then we will move on to syncopation Students will work with syncopation in that same section because this section is all unison rhythms so this will really help because its and exercise the whole group can do

9. Teacher will greet band 10. Students will then do a warm-up with director 11. The warm-up will include different articulations on a Bb concert scale. 12. Students will start playing from the beginning and once they get so a section that has syncopation in it we will stop if need be to correct it 13. Teacher will then explain how to what syncopation is 14. Students will go back and play that same section again 15. Once students have got this section to an acceptable level then we will move on to getting notes down since this is a note heavy piece 16. Students will work with syncopation and notes in that same section because this section is all unison rhythms so this will really help because its and exercise the whole group can do
