DANUBE EXPRESS: ISTANBUL TO PRAGUE

THE ROUTE

Sights and scenery

Istanbul

Day 1- Istanbul The journey begins in Istanbul and heads to Bulgaria across the Bosforo.

Day 2 At dawn the train resumed its journey and stops in the village of Kazanlak. Tras sigiente visit to Veliko Tarnovo is that it is the ancient capital of Bulgaria.

Day 3 Basov & Sighisoara After sleeping in the Carpathians is vivitara Bran Castle in the town of Brasov and Sighisoara medieval afternoon.

Day 4 Continuing the journey to reach Kecskemet where we see a show of "Puzsta" which is an exhibition with riding.

Day 5 A free day to explore Budapest.

Day 6 Another free day to explore Budapest.

Day 7 The train heads to Austria but will make a stop at the lake Balaton and one in the palace Festetics.

Day 8 Arrive in Vienna for a tour of this city. Lunch on board, as the train heads to Bratislava, capital of Slovakia.

Day 9 During the morning we will visit the old town of Krakow and later made a visit to the Wieliczka salt mines are a World Heritage Site.

Day 10 Arrive after breakfast in the magnificent city of Prague.
