    This survey asked respondents questions about hybrid cars, including their familiarity, opinions on environmental benefits, and likelihood of ownership. Most respondents were below 30 years old, from West Malaysia, and had heard of hybrid cars which they viewed as new. While not currently owning a hybrid, most would consider it due to fuel efficiency and environmental benefits. Respondents were familiar with Honda, Nissan and Toyota as hybrid producers and understood hybrids run on both gasoline and electric power. Most agreed the environment needs protection and hybrids can help save it.
