By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to: (i) (ii) produce scrap books about occupations based on previous lessons gather resources from variety of reading materials to produce scrap books

Cross-curricular elements: Multiple Intelligence - Kinaesthetic Steps: 1. 2. Revise the poem learnt previously. Teacher brings variety of reading materials (e.g. old newspapers, books and magazines) into the class. In groups, pupils use the reading materials to produce their scrap books. Teacher asks pupils to cut pictures about people and occupation from the materials, then paste the pictures on their scrap books. Write or Label the names of occupation below the pictures on their scrap books Award a prize to the best group.
