Harriet Tubman
I was the LEADING lady, in the armed expedition. I guided many slaves to Philadelphia, to freedom (seven siblings and 60 slaves to be exact). Also many people may not know this about me but I have kids, I just don't know where they are.

Betsy the Asylum Nurse:

Dorothea Dix I totally 100% agree with you.The insane shouldn't be punished, they should be helped. Many nurses have been spit on, beaten, and attacked. Honestly we go through a lot. I don't really blame the patients. I would go crazy If i was cooped up in a nut house all day 24/7.

Taking A Stand Against Injustice

1. The Reform Movement reveals that an Injustice should be fought when something is wrong or unethical and it needs to be corrected. If someone isn't willing to put in the work to make change, nothing will be accomplished or resolved. Another thing that it shows is many people tried to fight the injustice they were facing with different things. Some lead marches and protests others resorted to violence to get their message across. Also that people don't need to risk their lives or fight with forces, it's more about doing whatever you can and whatever is in your power to stop the injustices. 2. A take away for future citizens would be "fight for somethings with a purpose." This is important because no one during the Reform Movement believed that their actions would have a larger effect on life. They were fighting for something greater than themselves and came out victorious. Another takeaway would be, if you try hard to change something someday it will come true. How many of the black people in that time keep trying to change how the world was with protests riots and such but didn't do much but after awhile the dream of freedom for them came true. 3. A reformer the group would personally "friend" would be Frederick Douglass and Harriet Tubman. We chose Fredrick because in the time that he was a slave he was getting sick of all of this slavery and when his master came and started to beat him out of the blue he fought back like a boss.Frederick Douglass also inspired many people in the American history to fight for what they believed in. He talked about what he believed in and had just spoke his mind out. Harriet Tubman was a phenomenal woman who fought for equality and freedom, for all. Harriet Tubman and many other reformers have changed history for the greater good. If it wasn't for the unselfish acts of many reformers the world would still be in a chaotic rut. The world is not entirely perfect, but it has improved, since that time period.
