Provided evidence about the homeless, which most become homeless because of governmental issues. States homelessness has increased since the great depression. It also gave me a lot of quotes and points for my argument. New relief effort on U.S./Mexico Border. America 16 Feb. 2009: 6+. Opposing Viewpoints In Context. Web. 9. 2013. Which they are sent back to Mexico but not to their homes, they are let out on the streets without food or shelter. Gives information about shelters who help these people in need. This article was very helpful, it provided me with information that I wasnt even familiar with, it also made me expand my argument by including other countries needs not just the U.S A Sparkling Light At the End of the Tunnel. Guerrero 2 Talks about the kids who end up homeless after the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi. Focuses on the life of a young boy who had no choice but to end up living on the streets. Gives information on a local NGO who helps those kids in need who have lost their families. This article is recent so it is very new information being released. Although it focuses on the incident in 1994 it proves that governmental issues can be the cause of these people becoming homeless and even worse family less, at a very young age. Ratner, Lizzy. The article starts off introducing a mother of three that is living off food stamps and welfare and just doesnt know how she ended up like this. The recession is to blame according to Ratner. She provides governmental issues that both help us and destroy our economy. This source gives me good information it is recent and I think I could have used it if I had found it sooner. A sermon discusses the percentage rate of the elderly being homeless, which is not that high actually. She does predict that it will very much increase with time due to over

"L-shaped poverty lines; The legacy of depression." The Economist 18 Oct. 2008: 82EU. General OneFile. Web. 9 Apr. 2013. Talks specifically about a Japanese man who became homeless after losing his job. He lost his job because of a recession in Japan at the time; he has been homeless for quite a while now. This article helped me with my essay because I wanted to include a personal article about someone who became homeless due to the countrys state.
