PVC flute

This flute is based on the Indian bansuri flute. Tools: drill, 8 & 10 mm drill bits, measuring tape, pencil. Materials: 55 cm, 1.9 mm dimeter PVC pipe, wine bottle cork. Building instructions: Drill a 10 mm hole at 3 cm from the end of the pipe. Enlarge the hole to an elipse using the drill bit. Push the cork through the end of the pipe up to 1.5 cm from the center of the elipse. Blow into the hole the same way you blow into a bottle to make a sound. If a sound is achieved, the rest of the process is easy. Drill the rest of the holes using the 8 mm drill bit. See the diagram below for measurements. Start drillind from the hole furthest from the mouthpiece. Notes : You can attach a sprinkler to the head of the flute for decoration.
