Does your child have a possible autism spectrum disorder or developmental delay?

The ASPIRE Research Team at the University of North Carolinas Department of Psychiatry is conducting a research study for children who might have an autism spectrum disorder or developmental delay, but have not been diagnosed yet. The goal of this study is to identify a screening tool that uses gene expression patterns to help predict an autism diagnosis . Participants will receive a diagnostic evaluation by trained clinicians. There are no treatments involved in this study.

Individuals may be eligible if they:


Are between 1 - 4 years old Have a possible developmental disorder Have no prior diagnosis of an autism spectrum disorder
