There is a need for social

change. Government officers
can play a very important role
in social change. They have
important positions and they
can perform their role
effectively and thus help the
society in moving forward.
There is a need to organise
social sensitisation camps
among government officers. These officers can be
motivated to come forward and play an important role in
social values forward. HCM RIPA Bikaner organised a social
sensitisation camp at their institute on 17 February 2009.
Dr. T.K. Jain from AFTERSCHO☻OL was invited to deliver a
guest lecture on the occasion. Dr. Jain talked about role of
AFTERSCHO☻OL CENTRE FOR SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP –

public servants, social institutions and NGOs. Dr. Jain also

highlighed social issues and social problems in his lecture.
He motivated the government officers to take up the role
of social change agents. He gave illustrations of social
change agents and invited the participants to take
commitments for social reforms and social development.
The participants actively participated in the deliberations.
25 senior Government Officers from different government
departments participated in the deliberations and took
commitments for social development.
